After losing her father at age 5, Mayland has made it her mission to spread childrens grief awareness through her platform "#spreadserenity".  Mayland hand makes serenity stones which she sends all over the country to people who are experiencing grief following the loss of a loved one.  Her goal is to help educate families coping with loss and make children experiencing grief know they are not alone.
